Press Release Body = The city of Tupelo, Mississippi, birthplace of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, is now a major tourist destination thanks to an imaginative Mayor, Larry K Otis, and many others who have encouraged new and exciting attractions to locate there. An automobile Museum, Buffalo Park, and a beautiful Life-sized bronze statue of, “The King”, when he was a boy aged thirteen, provide backgrounds and subjects for all the eager tourists who in increasing numbers flock to the city with their cameras in hand. One of the newest attractions is the home of the late Becky Martin who was featured in many TV Documentaries by the BBC, Frontier Films of Ireland and more international media services, because she was a life-long friend of the legendary singer, known as, “The King”.
