Rhulani Safari Lodge awarded “Best Relaxation Retreat in Africa" by World Boutique Hotels

Dedication to detail and passion for quality have paid off. Rhulani Safari Lodge, a 9-chalet boutique hotel located in the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa, was awarded "Best Relaxation Retreat in Africa 2014" by World Boutique Hotel Awards, the first international awards scheme exclusively dedicated to recognising unique excellence among boutique hotels.

Madikwe Game Reserve, North West Province, South Africa, November 17, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Shortly after being nominated and shortlisted, Rhulani were successfully reviewed in person by a World Boutique Hotel Awards judge. On November 14, the winners of the World Boutique Hotel Awards 2014 were announced at a glittering awards ceremony held at the Montcalm Hotel, Marble Arch, in London. “I was impressed to be called along with many other honourable establishments on the stage of such a solemn ceremony," declared Rhulani owner Marisa Silva, who personally attended the celebration and received the trophy.

“This award really makes us proud and confirms that we are on the right track with our vision regarding quality and service for our guests,” added Rhulani owner Rolf Steiner with great satisfaction.

Even though the couple, Rolf Steiner and Marisa Silva, is making its first steps in the hospitality industry, their rich experiences from their former careers in financial services are helping in a number of ways.
