Tysons Corner, VA, January 15, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Executive Mosaic, Tysons Corner, VA January 14, 2014 – Lockheed Martin and sequencing and array technologies company Illumina have agreed to collaborate on genome research geared toward advancing personalized healthcare on a national scale, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

“Genomics is enabling a fundamental transformation of healthcare,” Horace Blackman, health and life sciences vice president at Lockheed Martin’s information systems and global solutions business, said Monday.

“We envision the advantages of early national adoption for countries across the globe, applying clinical decision support applications that can improve health and healthcare, and lower national healthcare costs.”
