Groundbreaking Entertainment Newspaper To Launch in South FloridaReleased on = May 23, 2005, 6:21 pm Press Release Author = SoFlim - Chris O'Hara Industry = Entertainment Press Release Summary = SoFlim, South Florida's newest media outlet, will provide an in-depth, behind the scenes look at the area's entertainment industry. Press Release Body = Major movie studios, television networks, and production crews have always flocked to South Florida to film chase scenes, explosions, and sandy beaches. As of June 1, SoFLim, South Florida’s first production newspaper, will provide a monthly behind-the-scenes look at the entertainment industry, with in-depth interviews with local producers, directors, actors and anyone who is involved in making this community so great. Working closely with the South Florida Film Commissions, the AICP, the Entertainment Industry Incubator and the local SAG and IATSE chapters, SoFLim will provide comprehensive entertainment news through a free distribution network designed to reach all those involved in the area’s blossoming entertainment industry. The inaugural issue will be unveiled at an exclusive launch party on Thursday, May 26 at Hollywood’s Now Art Café, (1820 S. Young Circle, Hollywood, FL, 6:30pm).
