Whilst two-way SMS may have been around for some time, the new service offered by TM4B simplifies it a great deal and puts the customer in control.

Once a user has a keyword or a dedicated number allocated to their TM4B account, they can simply login and instruct TM4B's messaging platform how to react to incoming messages.

One of the key features that TM4B's new two-way service provides is the email auto-responder, particularly useful for marketers. It works by requesting potential customers to send their email address via SMS and as soon as it is received, a pre-written e-mail is sent out to the sender by e-mail.

"Even if your computer literacy is minimal, you can configure your account to send automatic responses back to the sender either by email or SMS. If you’re on the move, or want to provide a 24 hour support service, you can even get your incoming SMS forwarded to your mobile phone."
