Walker, Mary Ballard Award nominee, today announced the debut of God’s Rain: Poetry of Love, Life, and Family in both audio and eBook format. In his book, Walker talks about his personal demons, his marriage to co-author Teirra Walker, and dealing with rumors that his father allegedly molested a family member. Just as life began to look promising, he would face tragedy with the untimely passing of Teirra.
According to Author Daniel L. Walker, the audio and eBook version of God’s Rain: Poetry of Love, Life, and Family will be available for purchase on November 1, 2014 and Kindle and Amazon will feature their own versions of the book. The paperback version of this book was released June 21, 2014 and can be found at http://www.amazon.com/Gods-Rain-Poetry-Love-Family/dp/1495966194. Expect the audiobook to be released on iTunes, Amazon, and Audible. Preorders of the eBook version are now available on Kindle. Walker hired actress Charlia Boyer to narrate and produce this project. Boyer, a woman who has loved to write since childhood, is currently completing her Master’s in Creative Writing at the University of Denver. She received her B.A. from California State University in the Liberal Arts with a concentration in Music and Theater.
With her founding ChaRo Productions, her goal in life is to guide and help shape young minds through the performing art and improve literacy in the country’s education system. Her lifelong dream is to open a non-profit Performing Arts School where she will have the opportunity to allow children to express their creativity through the pieces they write and perform.
She has written several plays and musicals that were performed by young talents under her fifteen years as director of God’s Gift of Light youth choir. She is currently planning a countrywide tour for her new Gospel musical entitled Overcome, Overjoyed for the near future.
