Long Beach, CA, March 05, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- The rocker known as Chad Bandit has released his debut LP record, “The Morning After.” The album comprises 10 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of half an hour. It has been proudly published as an independent release on Bandit's own eponymous label without the involvement of the corporate music industry. Raw and natural, boasting a mellow tone of aggression not often heard in rock nor in pop music, “The Morning After” by Chad Bandit is a debut record that has already attracted a broad range of music fans.

Chad Bandit cites as main music influences the Gaslight Anthem, Brand New, Frank Turner, Dave Hause, Menzingers, and I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business. His own sound is characterized by clean-channel guitar tones, upbeat drums, optimistic chord progressions and gritty vocals which form the heart of “The Morning After”'s overall sound. Bandit's lyrics are narrative and well-written, often amusing, and delivered in such a way that the music fan can always follow along without wishing for greater clarity or enunciation.

Asked to describe the themes of his songs, Bandit writes that they're about: “Reminiscing over the good days as a teenager. Drinking with friends around campfires. The dark parts of humanity. Heartbreak. Strippers. Redheads. Road trips. Sing-along anthems. Punk rock.”

Chad Bandit was raised in a small town in southern Oregon. After high school he moved to Portland and graduated from the Art Institute, after which he found work in 3D modeling for video games like Tomb Raider and Tony Hawk. His days are spent as the lead 3D character modeler for the NBC Network's popular program, “Grimm,” but his nights are filled with songwriting, guitar playing, and live performances.

His current official bio describes his act as “playing at bars singing about the days of being young and hanging out on train tracks, drinking with friends.” He has previously called himself an “acoustic punk singer-songwriter,” and has said his debut LP includes music written over a span of five years.

“It's sure to be a road-trip remedy for years to come,” he writes.

“The Morning After” by Chad Bandit is available online worldwide beginning 9 March 2015, or from his official website now (link provided below). Fans of the true, American punk-rock spirit should get in early.
