Philadelphia, PA, July 08, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Half The Sky Leadership Institute CEO Grace Killelea has been selected as a 2015 Philadelphia SmartCEO Brava! award winner. Along with the rest of this year's recipients, she will be featured in the July/August 2015 issue of SmartCEO magazine. Recognition as a Brava! winner shines a bright light on the tenacity, skill, and drive that is essential for accomplishing high levels of leadership.

As Jaime Nespor-Zawmon, president of SmartCEO Events, has expressed, “Brava winners possess the hallmark qualities of successful leaders — vision, passion, compassion, dedication, perseverance. Each winner in this year’s class exhibits these qualities in all facets of her life, from running her business to tending to her family and donating time and resources to philanthropic initiatives. We are honored to recognize a group of women who are truly making a difference in the world.”

The Brava Awards is an annual program geared towards highlighting female CEO’s, top performing executives, and non-profits whose entrepreneurial spirit is coupled with an intensity towards mentorship and community service. Hundreds of local executives, guests, and past Brava! winners gather annually to welcome the newest members of the SmartCEO community.

This highly anticipated awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on July 22, 2015 at the Crystal Tea Room. Attendees can expect to begin the evening with a cocktail reception, followed by an entertaining awards ceremony, which will end with an uplifting toast to the newly awarded top female leaders of the Greater Philadelphia area.

Grace Killelea is the CEO and Founder of The GKC Group, a leadership development company. The company launched Half The Sky Leadership for Women, its program for high-potential women in early 2013. A second program – Quattro – is launching this Fall, and offers development for both men and women, with a co-ed platform. Ms. Killelea’s forthcoming book, The Confidence Effect, will be published in early 2016.
