Sharon was chosen for her outstanding accomplishments in the digital marketing field with her company Parent Tested Parent Approved (PTPA) Media. The winners of the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards will be announced and celebrated on November 18, 2015.

When you first meet Sharon, you can’t help but notice her bubbly personality and her bouncy blonde curls. She’s confident, well-spoken, thinks big, and is quick to the punch. For the past decade, Sharon Vinderine has been making her mark on the world of entrepreneurship. Sharon began her journey in the entrepreneurial world with her creation of Canada’s first wireless internet company which she later sold to Primus Telecommunications. Following the birth of her first child, Sharon invented the Kangaroo Towel, an innovative product for new mothers. Her inspiration for PTPA Media was born after she researched multiple awards programs for her product only to find that none were practical or authentic enough for her needs. Many awards were earned solely by paying a fee without any true feedback from potential customers. Other award programs offered no further promotional and marketing assistance. There was nothing to set Sharon’s product apart from others who would pay to have the same award.
