Press Release Body = On March 12th, Delphi Academy of San Francisco Bay student Nikita Dhesikan received an Honorable Mention at the Marine Masterpieces awards ceremony at the Seymour Marine and Discovery Center. The Marine Masterpieces art contest and exhibition is an annual marine art contest for K-12 students. Dhesikan won
for Whitecoat, her picture of a white seal coming out of the ocean,
and this picture is now on display for all visitors to view. And

learned about the Center’s philosophy, which is to increase
public awareness of the results of pollution and not taking proper
care of the Earth’s There were many
exhibits available for the children to see and touch, including
a skeleton of a gray whale and a transparent egg from a gray shark.

fun to see and touch all of the animals and I really liked the whale
