Hendler and host Zac Rich filmed an episode at the E3 Conference
in Los Angeles last month. Various video game manufacturers and
dealers were eager to talk about sponsoring gaming segments in next
season's shows. The last episode of this season was filmed on a
49 passenger catamaran The Spirit of Lauderdale which sailed into
the Atlantic Ocean from Fort Lauderdale with the Swept Away cast
and crew aboard. Other highlights of season 5 were interviews with
Gavin Degraw, the Black Eyed Peas, The crew also received a national TELLY award for their video production projects. Crew members received college scholarships and awards for their participation in the not for profit organization. Several members of the crew participated in the Listen up Youth media conference in Connecticut this spring. The teens also put together a project called Music for the Troops, sending cds to servicemen and women stationed in Iraq. They have been receiving emails from the soldiers thanking them for the new music. Swept Away TV
