Angela Baylis Named To Exclusive List Of Area Business Leaders
Raleigh, NC
– Dr. Angela Baylis, Doctor of Chiropractic and Managing Director
of Iatria Health Center, has been recognized as one of the Triangle’s
top businesswomen by the Triangle Business Journal at the “Women
in Business Awards” event. The event
was held on August 4, 2005 at the Sheraton Imperial in Research
Triangle Park. Dr. Baylis has been recognized as one of 25 Triangle
female executives who have displayed outstanding leadership in business
and was presented with the award at the
ceremonial luncheon.
“I am
honored to be chosen as a recipient of this prestigious award,”
said Dr. Baylis. “Being recognized as an influential business
leader is very gratifying and I am proud to be in the company of
such extraordinary women.”

Baylis:
Dr. Angela Baylis, Doctor of Chiropractic and Managing Director
of Iatria Health Center, specializes in applied kinesiology, the
term most commonly used to identify
a system of muscle testing and therapy. She is an active member
of the community donating her time and services to such organizations
and activities as the Raleigh Rescue Mission, Rex Hospital’s
Annual Living With and Beyond Breast Cancer Health Fair, the North
Carolina Child Advocacy Institute’s Give and Take Chic Shoe
Affair, and the Raise the Racquet for Breast Cancer Awareness. She
participates in numerous area health fairs where she provides free
services and administers massages to attendees, as well as conducts
workshops and lectures on at-home techniques that help area residents
to relieve pain and stress. She is active with the American Diabetes
Association through monetary contributions and volunteer time. Dr.
Baylis is also an avid supporter of the military and serves as a
mentor to young adults.
