Expo on October 2nd at the Palisades Center in West Nyack.

Body = NEW CITY/August 16, 2005 – The Rockland County Builders
and Remodelers Association (RCBRA) will host their first Home Remodeling
Expo on Sunday, October 2nd on the top level of the Palisades Center
from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Admission
is only $5.00 per adult and free for children 16 and younger.
Forty area contractors,
service providers and retailers will be on hand to speak with homeowners
about issues ranging from updating a kitchen or bathroom and organizing
a closet, to installing new windows and doors and updating an electrical
system. Representatives from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, a co-sponsor
for the event, will be available to explain refinancing and home
equity loan options to pay for remodeling expenses.
“The response
to this expo has been outstanding, both by members of the RCBRA
and homeowners who have heard about it,” stated Brian McFarland,
President of the RCBRA, a non-profit organization with more than
150 members. “Anyone thinking about home renovation work in
the next year should attend this expo, it will be time well
spent,” he added.
In addition
to Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Pella Windows and Doors will co-sponsor
the event and Orange & Rockland will serve as a Silver Sponsor.
Adult admission includes eligibility for several special door prizes.
The event will
take place on the top floor of the Palisades Center near the ice

The Rockland
County Builders Association, established in 1953, is affiliated
with the National Association of Home Builders and the New York
State Builders Association. The RCBRA is comprised of members of
the building and remodeling industry and related businesses, and
provides business, educational and social opportunities. The Association
promotes and supports business ethics and quality
standards for the industry.
