Body = SGM RECORDS PRESENTACIÓN ESPECIAL DE DIANA MERA EN LA CONFERENCIA NACIONAL DE MUJERES HISPANAS La cantante y compositora Diana Mera ofrecerá una presentación especial en la conferencia nacional de mujeres hispanas este viernes 16 de septiembre, 2005, durante la entrega del premio anual a la “Excelencia Latina” a la periodista y presentadora de “El Show de Cristina” que transmite Univisión, Cristina Saralegui. La vigésima conferencia anual se llevará a cabo en la Plaza Cívica de la ciudad de Phoenix, Arizona gracias a la Corporación de Mujeres Hispanas (HWC por sus siglas en inglés) el 15 y 16 de septiembre. “Como mujer y como latina me siento feliz de colaborar para que otras chicas tengan las oportunidades que yo he tenido” dijo Mera. La conferencia de dos días es la mayor reunión de mujeres Latinas en el país que ofrece la oportunidad de desarrollo profesional y de liderazgo a más de 2,000 participantes, mientras recauda fondos para becas universitarias a beneficio de mujeres jóvenes latinas. The Hispanic Women's Corporation (HWC) is hosting the 20th National Hispanic Women's Conference in Phoenix, Arizona on Sept. 15-16, 2005 at the Phoenix Civic Plaza.“As a Latin woman, I am very happy to contribute to an event that has the possibilities to give other young Latinas, the opportunities that I’ve had” said Mera. The two-day
conference is the largest gathering of Latinas in the country and
will provide leadership and professional development to over 2,000
participants while raising money for college scholarships to benefit
