FoundLocally.com adds Coupons and News Announcement features to Business Listings

FoundLocally.com's Coupons can be used by businesses to post discounts and/or manufacturer's rebates on products or services, as well as for general sale announcements by stores and retail chains. This is expected to be popular with retailers, professional services, and restaurants offering introductory discounts. The new features build on the existing searchable business database, integrated with an events calendar and a job & volunteer opportunity listings. An efficient Power User module can "clone" a coupon to multiple locations in a chain managed by a Registered User. Coupons are searchable by consumers by title, store or keyword, and can be sorted in several user-defined ways to enhance functionality. The New Announcements feature enables businesses and community groups to post news releases and newsletters as part of their listings in FoundLocally.com's database. This feature is expected to be popular with businesses wishing to community not only with their customers but also to the general community, and provide an unfiltered and unedited version of an organization's achievements. News is searchable a number of ways, including by keyword. FoundLocally.com has also streamlined the Login procedure and login help. With 90,000 businesses added over the years, many users have forgotten the login and password they used to register their organization. The site has added a "Forgot My Password" hint feature, which e-mails login information back to a Registered User's e-mail address.
