for all to visit at this year’s Parade of Homes. Bedford has 16 new homes entered in
what the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County describes as “North
Carolina's Largest Open House,” the 40th Annual Parade of Homes.
Bedford will showcase new homes from 15 of its builders, including the national
award winning Charleston Collection, according to Dawn Forrest, director of
marketing for Bedford’s developer, Wakefield Development Company. “The list of
builders also includes Orleans Homebuilders, McNeill Burbank Homes and Preservation
Homes,” added Forrest. Preservation Homes’ artistic bungalow-style has become a
Parade favorite at Bedford.
In addition, the community will showcase at least one home from Drees Homes, the
Riverwalk Collection, Orleans Builders, Estate Builders, Spectrum Homes and homes
from a number of the community’s award-winning custom builders who make up the
Bedford Builder Group. The tour begins Saturday and Sunday, October 1 & 2, and
continues Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 7 - 9, and wraps up Saturday and
Sunday, October 14 – 16. Models are open from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. on all dates.
