(Philadelphia, PA) – Philadelphia startup, Electronic Gifts Media, Inc. is launching
eGifts.com, an intelligent gift idea search engine capable of finding appropriate
gift ideas for hard-to-shop-for individuals based on personal search parameters.
Users choose “gifts by recipient”, “gifts by interest” and/or “gifts by keyword” to
isolate relevant gift ideas. Then using proprietary search technology the site
returns a list of gift suggestions from dozen’s of online retailers including
Wal-Mart®, Target®, Macy’s®, and many more. If the user spots an eye-catching gift,
he or she can simply click on the image, and will be taken to the retailer’s
web-site where the gift can be purchased. If the user does not find the perfect gift
right away, search results can be refined by entering advanced parameters such as
occasion, price-range, age, etc.
eGifts.com will also provide free gift reminders, free greetings through a
partnership with 123Greetings.com, and a free wedding registry where brides can list
products from multiple stores, all in one place.
