Starport is an online game designed for hundreds of simultaneous human players in the same game-world, connected by the internet. Set in \"the golden age of galactic colonization,\" players compete against each other, and in cooperation, to achieve the most illustrious career as a starship captain on the galactic frontier. Starport is unique among massively-multiplayer games in that it offers long-term strategic game factors in combination with heart-pounding arcade combat. Some Starport galaxies are winnable, and the players at the top of the rankings when the game ends are declared the winners.
