Are Women Taking Over Internet Business?

As recently as 1997, 75% of the people on the web were male. Today, 51.8% of
internet users are women. Women are creating internet businesses as an alternative
to the glass ceiling and changing the tone of how web sites work.

Saint Louis, MO December 8, 2005

Women are winning the internet battle of the sexes. In fact, some men with internet
businesses take on a female name or persona on their web sites to make them more
appealing to women.

Internet business has become the new frontier for smart women who want to get out of
the corporate rat race and have freedom and flexibility.

According to Lorrie Morgan- Ferrero in a recent interview on
www.WebSororityTalkRadio, she started Red Hot Copy, her successful copy writing
business because she wanted to stay home with her children. Jenn Wright, a
professor in mid-life, left her university job, moved to New Zealand, and started a
web based business taking women on adventure tours.

There are 5 key characteristics women need to begin successful computer home based
business: courage, willingness to fail, passion, support, and the ability to learn.

Many women are leary of scams on line. To that end, they seek successful female
mentors who can guide them to safe opportunities and products. That women helping
women mentality is contributing to the rise of powerful women on the internet and
making internet businessmen change their approach to be more women friendly.

www.WebSororityTalkRadio.com provides women with computer home based businesses with
real life stories of successful women who are willing to mentor and assist other
women in building their successful internet business.
