Press Release Summary = Delphian School students sponsored a Christmas tree to be
auctioned off at the first annual Festival of Trees, held at the Evergreen Aviation
Museum on December 8th.

Press Release Body = Four students from The Delphian School in Sheridan, Oregon,
have sponsored a Christmas tree for the first annual Festival of Trees, hosted by
the Evergreen Aviation Museum in neighboring McMinnville. Trees from all sponsors
will be on display from November 25th through December 8th, with bidding occurring
at the Museum Gala on the evening of 8th.

Delphian School students Ryan Gutknecht (16), Diana Clarizio (17), Kara Troughton
(17), and Nikki Rooney (14) teamed up to decorate their tree, entitled \"Candyland.\"
The students said it was inspired by \"The Night Before Christmas.\"

\"I wanted to make it look edible,\" said the tree\'s main designer, Diana Clarizio.
\"The tree is hung with gingerbread cookies, little bags of candy and candy canes. We
wanted it to look scrumptious and colorful, like a child's dream of Christmas.\" The
students designed and decorated the tree at The Delphian School and then moved it to
the museum, where it is now on display.

Proceeds from this fundraising effort will go toward expanding the promotional
efforts of the Yamhill Valley Visitors Association to increase the impact of visitor
spending while striving to honor and maintain the quality of life in Yamhill Valley.

The Delphian School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school
offering college preparatory, English-as-a-Second-Language and summer programs for
