My name is Joe Mancuso and I live in Vienna since 12 years. But obviously I can`t get enough of this city. It is like travelling through a time machine and find yourself back in the years before 1850.
Buildings, cathedrals, castles, places, opera, and also Hotels in Vienna which are older than the hall history of some countries.
It is not only a cultural place where you can visit the world famous viennese opera or a concert of the vienna boys choir or something else cultural - no- there are also other interesting things to do.
Like visiting the traditional Christmas market which the people call the \"Christkindlmarkt\" - Christchild-market in front of the Rathaus-town hall. This is such a beautiful place with its lights and a huge christmastree. There you can find many works of art. I heard a man say, who was travelling a lot, that for christmas, vienna has the most charming atmosphere than any other city.
But also in summer the place in front of the town hall is a very special one. In the evening they show famous concerts and operas on a big wide screen on the town hall. And the best of all - its free - yes completely free. And there they offer food and drinks from all over the world.
