East-Europe is ahead of the West in web hosting?

Budapest, Hungary - 13.12.2005 - Rare technology is applied for web hosting in
Hungary

Do you know that most of the web hosting providers in the world run their service
on no-name computers? Do you know that this is still true for not only the East, but
also for the West?

Do you know why? Certainly because they want to keep their expenses low. A
web hosting provider company has two kinds of expenses relating their server: 1.
The initial cost of buying the server computer; 2. The monthly cost of
running the server, including the fee for connecting to the Internet.
Both types
of expenses are clearly increasing when a company installs new computers to serve
more clients.

But what if a computer could serve 10 times more clients than the average? Would
this drastically decrease the monthly costs?

Oh, you say, this is not possible, because the capacity of a server
computer is limited. Surely it is - if you think in average (but quality) computers,
like the common IBM web hosting servers. But the case is different for a new
generational Silicon Graphics server.

Silicon Graphics (SGI) computers are usually applied for robust tasks. Do you
agree that quality-serving 10 or 20 times more clients on the same hosting computer
is a robust task?

So this is already materialized in Hungary, at
