Book Description: A young man finds himself in remote woodland with no recollection of how he has arrived or where he is from. He knows only that his name is Mr Baron and that he must rescue a woman called Mina but has no idea where she is or how to reach her. Two friends, Judith and Jane, at a nearby Summer camp befriend him and determine to help him. From his diary they piece together that he seems to be a student at a fantastical college in another time.
However, the girls soon encounter unpredictable and terrifying slips in time. Plus there is Mr Baron\'s strange habit of disappearing for long periods. Is he really who he claims to be? Then one day he disappears as mysteriously as he has come, leaving behind a strange box, which seems to be some sort of portal.
With time now running out of control, dare Judith and Jane step inside and follow him?
About the Author: Jill Harper lives in Swansea and is a legal secretary. She has worked in a variety of occupations from sewing machinist to telesales from which she has drawn inspiration in her writing. Jill wrote the initial draft of this book when she was 13. More recently, she's run creative writing classes and chaired a local writers' group and is a keen musician in her spare time.
