Granite Bay Software announces the availability of GBTimelapse, a remote capture
program for Canon PowerShot cameras
and Windows 98/ME/2000/XP.

If you have a Canon PowerShot digital camera, you can create interesting and
beautiful time-lapse high-definition videos.
You aren\'t limited to the low resolution of a standard-definition video camera or
web camera. Whether you are creating
corporate videos or home movies you can use time-lapse to film clouds, people,
traffic or anything that involves movement.
To see some examples, take a look at the time-lapse video gallery at
http://www.granitebaysoftware.com

GBTimelapse controls a Canon PowerShot Camera connected to your computer by a USB
cable. The camera\'s settings are
changed and a series of images is captured automatically using the computer rather
than the camera controls. The images
can be gathered while the camera and computer are left unattended. You will need a
video editing program (such as
QuickTime) to combine the time-lapse images into a video.

GBTimelapse works with all PowerShot cameras that support remote capture including
the Pro Series, G-Series, A-Series
and S-Series but not some of the smaller SD Series cameras.

Advanced features not found in any other remote capture programs include, the
ability to change camera settings on the
fly during a time-lapse session, the display of a live time-lapse movie preview, and
the ability to start or stop a session at set
times each day or relative to the local sunrise or sunset times.

A fully functional demo is available to the public at
http://www.granitebaysoftware.com. Program registration is only
US$49.00, and may be completed from the company\'s web site.
