Press Release Body = Soccer coaching jobs may be becoming more difficult to fill as
competitiveness and sports rivalry are driving people out of these positions.

It is no secret the sports craze in the United States has been getting more and more
out of control over the past few years.
http://www.soccercoachingjobs3.com/articles/coaching-soccer-formations.html is a
source of information on this topic. At the earliest ages possible parents are
arming their children with balls and bats and sending them out to compete against
other children. Not only are the children in competition, but the parents scream
and become irate on the sidelines as the game progresses. This insanity has even
led to extreme cases of violence and even death at children\'s sporting events.
However, this is also leading to a shortage of coaches willing to enter the combat
zone to battle overzealous parents and caregivers in order to teach children to play
sports.

To counteract the bloodthirsty experiences in children\'s sports, Maine has
instituted a federally funded program to promote sportsmanship, participation, and
discourage excessive competition, called Sports Done Right. Other states have
followed in attempting to balance the psychological aspects of athleticism among
children by implementing similar programs.

Not only is the extreme enthusiasm driving coaches out of the profession, but
children are also abandoning playing sports because the fun is slowly being sucked
out of it. Stringent practicing, competitive tournaments, and unrealistic
expectations are making children burnout on what was once fun and exciting. Parents
that believe they are motivating their children are actually causing more stress
than anything.

To avoid pushing children too much, it is suggested to focus on the enjoyment of
playing the game instead of the outcome. Excessive practicing and pressuring
children to be exceptional should not be tolerated. These simple steps would
alleviate much of the stress involved for children, coaches, and parents.
