Was Jesus Christ a Storyteller

Released on = January 2, 2006, 1:48 pm

Press Release Author = Author / Mario S. Fedele

Industry = Entertainment

Press Release Summary = He most certainly was!

Press Release Body = He passed on many of his teachings by way of parables, which
are short fictitious stories that illustrate a moral attitude or religious
principle.
To list just a few of his well-known parables, there's that of The Good Samaritan,
The Wicked Servant, The Prodigal Son, The Lost Sheep, The Rich Fool, The Ten
Virgins, The Good Shepherd, The Wedding Feast, and A Friend in Need.

One could write a book about these stories. And in fact someone has. It's called
"The Bible," which contains all of Christ's stories and exploits, and is possibly
the greatest book ever written.

Writers are glorified storytellers. There's those who are in the forefront of
people's minds. These include Michael Crichton, John Grisham, Stephen King, RL
Stine, and of more recent note there's Dan Brown and JK Rowling.
Some writers recount stories that have deep-rooted messages. Others weave tales that
simply entertain and delight.

Mario S. Fedele is a relative newcomer to the literary field. His recently published
book, "Stories for a Stormy Night, Vol. 1," happens to fall into both of the above
categories.
In the first instance, there are some clear-cut lessons to be garnered from reading
the two novellas it contains. The most obvious of these stresses the importance of
open communication to allow for family harmony. Another precept highlights the need
to keep on trying till we've overcome all adversity. And finally, there's the valued
advice that there's no shame in seeking help from others when faced with
insurmountable odds.
In the second instance, Mario S. Fedele's stories are highly entertaining and quite
an experience to read. They are as original as any of the "Harry Potter" stories
told by JK Rowling and are as adventurous as any of those in the "Goosebumps"
series, created by RL Stine.
