The 2006 BMW Z4 Roadster made its debut at the North American International Auto Show, the Z4 arrives in US showrooms this spring and the Z4 Roadster line-up will consist of two models- Z4 3.0i at $36,295 MSRP, and the Z4 3.0si, with an MSRP of $42,795. The Z4 offers sleek styling and updated power trains for the 2006 model year. The front end is revised with relocated fog lights and reshaped air inlet, the tail is accented by new lenses and a reworked bumper that gives the rear of the 2006 BMW Z4 Roadster a flatter look. The 3.0si comes with standard bi-xenon headlights and both 3.0i and 3.0si are available with a power top. A manual top with a heated rear glass window is standard. Under the hood the 2006 Z4 is equipped with two new 3.0-liter, inline six-cylinder engines mated to a six-speed manual transmission (a six-speed automatic is optional). With 3.0i, the Z4 offers 215 horsepower and 185 lb.-ft. of torque, and 3.0si models boast 255 horsepower and 220 lb.-ft.
