Pay-Per-Click Search Engine Advertisers Miss-Out on an Estimated 10-20% Keyword
Searches

Mt. View, CA - 02/25/06 - When advertisers select keywords to bid on, they are
certain to get all of the most common ones. Few pay-per-click advertisers are aware
that a large percentage of searches are misspelled and only bid on a fraction of the
number they could.

But, what few realize is that an estimated 10-20% of the searches are misspelled
according to a recent study. Nearly all of these keywords don\'t show-up in the
keyword tools provided by the search engines. There are just too many variations to
track and no built in tools to do it with.

This means searchers aren\'t able to find the resources they\'re looking for and
advertisers miss-out on new customers. The amount of revenue that businesses miss
out on can be staggering. There has not been a viable solution until now.

Rod Beckwith. the creator of a tool to help advertisers to find these misspelled
keywords says, "Only bidding on the most common keywords is a surefire way for
advertisers to lose their shirt with their pay-per-click accounts. Words that don\'t
show-up in most keyword research tools are usually the most profitable ones because
there is little competition driving up bids."

As wider use and access to the internet expands, this number is expected to grow.
New markets with English as a second language are opening-up and a larger variety of
educational backgrounds are buying online.

When advertisers bid on misspelled keywords, then they are able to reach qualified
buyers who simply made spelling or typing error. As a result, they are an essential
part to every pay-per-click campaign.
