TEMPLE CITY CA.- Raven West Guitar, today announced the launch of their new series of guitars and basses, dubbed the K2 \"Scorpion\" series. Built overseas by the same company and in manufacturing facilities under the same management as their top of the line instruments, the K2 series offers unprecedented value for the money spent. Founder and CEO Eric Bergquist explains: \"The K2 line came about because of numerous customer requests for a budget line of guitars that would retain the look, sound, feel and playability that Raven West has become known for, while giving guitarists the absolute maximum value for money spent. In order to accomplish this we worked closely with our build team, designing a line of instruments that used the very same woods, finishes and many of the same quality parts that grace our main line. Though this is a budget line, we have not cut corners with the basics like so many others have. Our emphasis was placed squarely on providing a solidly built, good sounding instrument at a never before seen price point, but we didn\'t want to use substandard components to achieve that. We opted instead to use such quality parts as genuine Wilkinson pickups and Grover tuners on these models, and they even share the same quality body and neck tone woods, such as mahogany, maple and carolina wood. Like our deluxe line of guitars, these also sport such cosmetic touches as incredibly figured Tiger-flame and quilted maple tops, rosewood fingerboards, genuine abalone blue pearl inlays, medium jumbo frets, high quality hardware and the beautiful finishes that RWG has become famous for. They\'re so similar in looks to our deluxe guitars that we\'ve given them a beautiful inlaid abalone scorpion logo on their headstocks or fingerboard to set them apart and as with our main line of guitars, each K2 - Series RavenWestGuitar also comes with a limited lifetime warranty to protect your purchase.
