Press Release Body = Minneapolis, MN - Jean Hanson, virtual assistant and owner of
VA Office Solution, recently received the Lifeline Award from Upsize Minnesota
Magazine. The award was presented at an event held on January 31st at the
Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley. Business owners were asked to describe the
best business lesson they've applied at their company, who helped them learn that
lesson, and what impact the lesson had on their business. The business owners and
"Lifelines" were given an opportunity to share their story at the event. The
magazine also published the stories in their February issue of the magazine.

Teresa Thomas-Carroll of the Purple Crayon Factory, a company who facilitates
creative workshops (www.purplecrayonfactory.com), nominated Hanson for the award.
According to Thomas-Carroll, "The day I was referred to Jean Hanson was the day my
business gained momentum." Thomas-Carroll partnered with Hanson, a virtual
assistant, to help with marketing projects she had been handling herself, so she
could have more time to focus on growing her business. "Jean skillfully stepped in,
freed up my time, and inspired me to take steps I would not have felt ready to
otherwise. She is worlds more than a task-keeper - she gets the big picture of what
I'm trying to do with my business and helps me move towards my goals by
brainstorming ideas and implementing a plan", says Thomas-Carroll. Hanson, who has
been a business owner since the 1980\'s, offered this advice to her client, "As an
entrepreneur you can do anything, but in order to grow your business, you simply
can't do everything."

Hanson's virtual assistant business, VA Office Solution, provides support to
business coaches, speakers, and authors. Services provided include: ezine
publishing, research, website updates, email management and general support. For
