Press Release Body = DesiBakwaas.com is a online community website primarily populated by the British Asian community. By Asian we mean those who originate from the Indian sub-continent: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. It\'s a loose term, and our aim is not to exclude any race, religion or community. A small but significant percent of visitors are also from mainland Europe, USA and Canada.
The website was created with 3 main aims in mind. Firstly to be a place where people could come to and discuss intellectual issues, and be able to explore their own creativity as well as get inspiration from others.
Secondly to facilitate understanding between the different and diverse communities that are called \"Asian\". It aims to build bridges in a community frequently fragmented by religion, caste, sex and race etc. Here everyone is on an equal standing, and people who try to start trouble by abusing those from another religion or caste etc are banned. The aim is to create understanding, not let a few haters create trouble.
Thirdly to let the users create their own content. This makes sure not only that the content here is fresh and diverse, but also means that everyone can get involved and have an outlet for what they want to share.
