The March 2006 issue of Cosmetic Surgery Times is devoted to ethics in medicine. In a feature about medical spas, Kile Law, owner of Blue Water Spa discusses safety in medical spas. \"One key to safety, says Law, is choosing the appropriate technology. Kile moved to Raleigh from Orange County, CA in 2002 with her husband to raise their family in his hometown. They have two young sons.
About Dr. Michael Law
Dr. Michael Law is a board-certified plastic surgeon. A native of Raleigh, Dr. attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He received his M.D. degree at Emory University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Law then traveled west and undertook a total of ten years of formal surgical training. Upon completing his surgical training, he remained in California where he had a successful aesthetic plastic surgery practice in Beverly Hills. North Carolina always seemed like home, however, and in 2002 he made the decision to return home to Raleigh to be closer to his family and to raise a family of his own. He resides in North Raleigh with his wife and two young sons. Dr. Law is the only solo practice plastic surgeon voted among the best in the Triangle by Metro Magazine two consecutive years. He still sees many patients from Beverly Hills and from all parts of the country seeking beautiful, natural results from plastic surgery. He has been featured in national magazines, newscasts and television programs but he has declined invitations to participate in plastic surgery reality television programs. Dr. Law performs all surgery in a hospital O.R. he provides a complimentary overnight hospital stay to enhance patient comfort and to provide peace of mind to patients and their families. Dr. Law believes that great plastic surgery doesn't look like surgery, it just makes people look great.
