The 0n-line measurement by the wall takes place in commercial Varivent or Varinline housings. The ultrasonic signals received sent by the sensor and form the measuring section between the sensor and the tube sheet lying opposite. By the solid concentration or by the product specific transmission characteristic adjusting signal absorption is a criterion for choice. Further different sound speeds in the measuring medium can be evaluated. The tubing nominal sizes can amount to for instance DN 25 to DN 125 off. At the transducer the limit value is freely adjustable. Beside the programming over the input keyboard, the programming is possible over R-S 485 interface.
