YaWordscom - A New Million Dollar Idea Selling Words And Not Pixels

Released on = April 14, 2006, 6:18 am

Press Release Author = YaWords.com

Industry = Advertising

Press Release Summary = A young Italian engineer launches a new million dollar idea
based on words sold to advertisers with the aim to create a new form of business.

Press Release Body = Verona, Italy April 15, 2006 - Marco Montresor, an italian
entrepreneur who aims to pay his way by selling words in internet, set up
yawords.com after thinking a way for a different job opportunity, before changing
his job from software programmer to baker.
His aim is to create something new, simple and innovative for the internet world,
capturing people\'s immagination but, most of all, usefull. Montresor said, as
considering himself a creative person, that \"there must be a new and simple way to
find thinks and products in internet without loosing yourself in links: most of the
times a word is more profit than thousand\". Normaly during an internet search, the
engine proposes a long terminating list of links: \"If people need to buy a
computer\", Montresor commented, \"it has no sense to have a long list of links
talking about computers, it\'s easier to search for the word \'computer\' and have a
direct link to a site that sells computers\".
And this is the way he coined \"the Word Wide Web\", a new search engine based on
words where advertisers can buy any word to link to their site and products,
personal pages, blogs or anything else. But the novelty is in the fact that the
advertiser is the only owner of the word and forever.
Milena, 42, his baker, commented \"I knew that Marco expressed the idea to have
something new with his job and I offered him a temporary work in my bakery, but he
pestered me to buy the word \'bread\', instead, thinking in a new way to advertise my
products in my site\".
Montresor says that people need a new form of advertising, and now buying the words
they have a new way to directly link to their site.
\"In the site I offer different tools for searching the words\", Montresor says, \"like
a toolbar, a browser plug-in and banners, and I hope that larger companies can buy
the more usefull and common words as soon as possible, until they are available\".
He believes that over time the words will offer good value to businesses because the
words are endless, theirs forever, and the site will be kept online for as long as
possible.
