recording artist Mark Newland\'s life and his relationship with long time girlfriend
from California.

Nashville police officer, W.Gates informed us,
The singer\'s former manager was arrested and charged with stalking and planning harm
to the well known recording artist as she arrived at Newland\'s office on music row
in mid March 2006.

A Newland rep said she believes the former manager had been stalking Mark Newland
and his girlfriend with the internet and personal blackmale for many months. It was
an internet article the manager wrote about the recording artist that led to her
arrest after police tracked internet letter\'s to her office in California.

Nashville Police said the case was under investigation for over six months in
California and they could not offer any further details of the California
investigation at that time.

In April of 2005. Newland described to San Diego police department of being attacked
at knifepoint by three men out side his Ranho Santa Fe
home where had been staying so that he could protect his ex girlfriend from being
stalked or harmed.

In the story, reproduced in the Nashville newspaper, a California private
investgator spoke about Newland\'s former manager of dreaming and wanting to destroy
his life with his long time girl friend if Mr. Newland did not leave the
relationship with his girlfriend. The account does not identify the alleged
California investigator, the former manager or Newland\'s girlfriend.

The California investigator informed police that he changed his mind of
investigating Mr.Newland and reported the on going investigation after finding how
far Newland\'s former manager would go if Newland did not turn on his girlfriend. It
was very clear Newland was not going to do so when Mr.

girlfriends home on Thanksgiving day to protect her.

The California investigator informed police that, Mr.Newland loved his girlfriend
more than I could ever understand. I was very taken with the devotion he had for her
and her family.
When Newland informed his parents of the stalking and the assault on his life, they
arranged the sting with the NPD.

engagement ring that had been given to Newland\'s girlfriend. Fearing retaliation
against the girlfriend or his parents,
Newland requested for the ring to be returned and appointed another investigator to
watch the
over his Parents and his girlfriend for over a month at $300.00 per day

the country singer or his girfriend. But, she said, \"I was seriously considering
doing his relationship harm if he did not leave his girlfriend.\"
