Getting Full Without Getting Fat

Studies show that when individuals eat the right foods, their brain is manipulated
into believing that they are full much faster, thus, helping individuals eat less,
feel satisfied and lose weight.

Kansas City, Missouri - 6/7/2006 -

Different foods have different levels of satiety. Satiety is simply a word that
measures how satisfied or full, one feels after eating any food ---- and every food
has a different satiety level. What this means is that if one eats a high satiety
food then they will feel \"satisfied\" much faster than if another food with the
exact same number of calories is consumed. Or in other words, an individual will
feel \"satisfied\" after eating much less food per meal. Therefore, it is possible to
lose lots of weight while still feeling satisfied after every meal.

Also, when high satiety foods are consumed, one will continue to feel satisfied for
a much longer period of time after they are done eating, so individuals won\'t crave
food nearly as often. While on the other hand, if one continues to eat a diet rich
in low satiety foods the likelihood that the individual will continue to overeat
and gain weight is high.

You see, the brain receives signals from the stomach (and other areas of your body)
after something is eaten, and when it receives enough signals of \"satiety\" then the
body feels \"satisfied\". ...and if one eats the right foods then their* brain is
manipulated into believing that they are full much faster, thus helping individuals
eat less and feel satisfied.

Therefore, to lose weight, one does not need to worry about counting the exact
amount of calories eaten per day. One just needs to worry about the types of food
eaten---and needs to begin eating foods with a high satiety rating.
