Mariners Ville, Gurgaon - An excellent investment for seafarers

New Delhi: May 2006 : The Mariners Welfare Society (MWS), a Delhi based real estate
company specializing in housing projects dedicated to the seafaring community has
planned the launch of its second project, christened Mariners Ville. The 100 acre
stand alone colony, with designer independent villas will come up near Delhi and
falling within the National Capital Region, in Gurgaon, Haryana, the town that acts
as an ambassador of India's growing global status today. Mariners Ville, a 30 minute
drive from New Delhi national and international airports comes to you from the aegis
of Mariners Welfare Society the membership drive for which-only for the Marine
community professionals-- has already begun receiving excellent response.

Mariners Ville will consist of around 450 independent villas. The focus of the
project is on the spaciousness and comfort of the farmhouse style living, with a
special emphasize on security and convenience of a condominium. The Mariners Ville
shall be delivered to the seafarer at prices that are far lowered than the
prevailing market rates. The third phase of enrollment for the society is presently
on. The plots in the colony would have the added advantage of being free hold and
thus transferable in the name of the members.

The MWS, floated in 2002, germinated from an idea of HS Anand, President MWS, to
create an institution that caters to quality housing solutions for the seafaring
professionals. It was also his attempt to give back something to the profession
which had provided him with a career and station in life. Anand, a 1980 batch
ex-Mariner with about one and a half decade of serving major global shipping
companies and having done a stint on TS Rajendra too, states "Being a Mariner I
understand the difficulty faced by a seafaring professionals while settling
themselves after retirement. I felt the need to start a company which minimizes the
hurdles of the mariners in affording their own house. And have the security and
comfort of like minded neighbors. It's like choosing your own neighbors."

The Mariner's Home, Gurgaon was the first project of MWS. The project has very rich
specifications with value added facilities like swimming pool, club, full power back
up, convenience store, security etc. The Mariners Home project is fully commissioned
and presently provides high quality dwelling benefits to the families living there
in its 42 apartments. The investment has swelled to three times the original price
with in the two years since possession was given in 2004.
