Press Release Body = CRAFT-BILT CELEBRATES 60 YEARS

June 1, 2006.Souderton, PA Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Company, founded in
Philadelphia in June of 1946, celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. The family
owned company manufactures sunrooms and awnings in the 214,000 square foot plant in
Souderton PA that was formerly the world's largest mustard factory.

Started by a veteran of World War II, they began with three employees as Craft-Bilt
Venetian Blind Company. Their first contract was to make and install custom blinds
to cover the palladium window in the Strawbridge & Clothier store in Germantown. The
job had to be finished before the store opened in the morning, and they didn't have
enough burgundy-colored tape to finish the job. The wives were called on to dye
white tape to match. Strawbridge's is gone; but Craft-Bilt is still here, run by
the son and daughter of the founder. Following the example of going the extra
distance for their customers, the company has been able to grow and prosper. Today,
Craft-Bilt owns several brands that are sold nationwide, including Betterliving®
Patio & Sunrooms and Aristocrat® Retractable Awnings. Growing from three employees
in 1946 to 100, the company is proud that more than one-third of the work force has
more than ten years of service. They attribute the longevity to an excellent safety
program and benefits package.

Craft-Bilt's 100 employees and their families will celebrate the occasion in the
fall with a dinner dance at Marjeane's Caterer's in Lansdale. ###
