Press Release Body = (Providence, Rhode Island, USA, June 8, 2006) Carlo Anonzo, the world reknowned Italian mandolin virtuoso will perform as guest soloist with the Providence Mandolin Orchestra in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday, June 10th.
Carlo is known in music circles as one of the top mandolinists in the world and has performed in concert halls throughout Europe and in the United States.
This concert will include solo works for the mandolin, duets with guitarist Mark Davis and two concertos by Antonio Vivaldi accompanied by the orchestra.
This event will be on Saturday, June 10th, 8:00 p.m. at St. Martin\'s Church, 50 Orchard Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island. Tickets are $15 ($10 seniors) and are available at www.mandolin-orchestra.org or call 401-273-6930 for more information.
Preceding the event at 1pm, the Italian Virtuoso who is also an internationally reknowned teacher and conductor will make a special persentation at a workshop on mandolin technique at the Wheeler School in Providence.
