The DX 2.0 provides five major functions in one unified solution - KVM switching and
control, Serial control, power management, user management, and remote access. These
functions are optimized by AIM, Minicom's Advanced Integrated Management interface -
a hardware embedded GUI providing out-of-band, BIOS level access,
topology-independent viewing, and point-and-click management for all KVM and Serial
hardware in the data center. Other enhanced features of the DX include:

. Simplified device management including auto-detection of system devices, and
database redundancy.
. Enhanced security via SNMP traps settings, lock configuration, and the ability to
relate user names to their designated servers regardless of changes to their port
configuration.
