Inspired by the new Asp.Net 2.0 Login Controls, Quality Data, Inc. has released the Membership Manager Control that can be \"drag and dropped\" from the Visual Studio 2005 toolbox onto a web page to provide online membership/role management capabilities.
By including membership and role management capabilities in the .Net 2.0 framework, Microsoft has established a defacto standard for providing access control on public and private web sites. This has created an entirely new industry for third party tools and applications that leverage this standard. Quality Data\'s Membership Manager Control, for example, provides a secure control panel for locating member records, resetting passwords, changing login names and performing other customer service functions.
The Membership Manager Control is incredibly easy to install. Just drag it onto a web page and it starts working! The appearance of the control is completely customizable by selecting one of the pre-defined themes or by individually setting style properties. Foreign language users will enjoy the ability to change the wording of any prompts or to use \"templates\" to change the layout or content of the control.
