Press Release Author = Virgina College

Industry = Automotive

Press Release Summary = VC Tech will host its High School Instructor 2006 seminar
Monday, June 26th through Friday, June 30th.

Press Release Body = VC Tech will host its High School Instructor 2006 seminar
Monday, June 26th through Friday, June 30th; the event is the second of its kind and
is being held again this year due to popular demand. High school instructors from 10
states across the U.S. will attend training classes on Custom Paint and Airbrush,
Welding and Fabrication, Basic and Aluminum Repair and Welding, among others. These
continuing education classes are needed to keep instructors\' National Automotive
Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF)-certified status.

WHAT: VC Tech hosts high school instructor seminar for instructors from 10 states
and offers attendees continuing education classes needed to keep NATEF
certification.
WHEN: June 26th- June 30th
WHERE: VC Tech - 2790 Pelham Parkway - Pelham, AL 35124

"The seminar brings individuals into the city from states as far west as Wyoming and
as far north as Ohio," says Dick Daigle, President of VC Tech. "VC Tech is
broadening its role as a leading U.S. automotive school, attracting attention from
industry professionals across the country."

The purpose of high school instructor visits/training seminars is two-fold. Seminars
not only help provide credible, first-hand information about VC Tech to instructors
who assist high school graduates in selecting a post-secondary institution for their
automotive training, but they also benefit NATEF certified instructors by providing
continuing education training for credit in several automotive areas.

The automotive industry is one of the fastest growing segments for employment. The
demand for qualified automotive technicians to service more sophisticated vehicle
technologies is increasing. The Bureau of Labor and Statistics estimates a current
shortage of 60,000 trained automotive technicians; jobs are then readily available
to those who qualify in most areas of the United States.
