310-Taxi Canada Inc. has been chosen as the winner of the Progress 2 Capital Business Planning Competition presented by RREDA, The University of Regina Faculty of Business Centre for Management Development, and the Western Canada Farm Progress Show. The eleven finalists presented their business models to a panel of judges June 19th in a five-minute limousine pitch and June 20th in a formal boardroom presentation. The announcement was made June 21 at the Progress 2 Capital Awards Breakfast as part of the kick off of to The Western Canada Farm Progress Show at the Queensbury Centre. With the win, 310-Taxi earns $5000 of in-kind services from EDS and $10,000 cash from The Western Canada Farm Progress Show.
The Progress 2 Capital Business Planning Competition looks to increase the number of prosperous businesses in the Regina Region and is open to anyone looking to start-up, expand or diversify a business based in the Regina Region. Progress 2 Capital looks to create opportunities and provide resources for new business, increase the success ratio of new business, grow the Regina Region\'s economy through new or expanded business, create and promote a region that fosters, supports and champions entrepreneurship, promotes the importance of business investment, and create sustainable partnerships between private and public sector for business and entrepreneurial development
