Book Description: Here are three interesting new stories to entertain and stimulate young minds. KWUK! is a very clever little duck, and is much loved by the other ducks. When the pond in which they live runs dry one day, he discovers a big hole at the bottom and thinks of a way to plug it up and fill the pond again, much to the delight of all the other ducks. In the second story, KWUK! defends the pond and his friends from selfish seagulls, and in the third story, he confronts a group of scary swans.
Excerpt from Kwuk the Duck and the Big Round Pond:
"Have you ever fed the ducks?
It's great fun!
The ducks all swim up to you as you throw pieces of bread into the water. "Quack! Quack!" they say as they eat the bread, "Quack! Quack!"
All except one.
Kwuk!
Kwuk is a little duck that cannot say "Quack", he can only say "Quuck!"
"Quuck! Quuck!"
When Kwuk swims up to eat the bread in the pond he says "Quuck! Quuck!"
