Author and UPI Columnist Jean-Claude Koven Wins Another Writing Award

Los Angeles, CA - Jean-Claude Koven, award-winning author of Going Deeper: How to
Make Sense of Your Life When Your Life Makes No Sense, Prism House Press, and weekly
Religion & Spirituality Forum columnist for United Press International (UPI), is the
recipient of Planet Lightworker's Writer of the Year Award 2005-2006 for his
contributions to their publication, now celebrating its 7th year. The announcement
was released August lst in the magazine's August edition by Managing Editor Sandie
Sedgbeer, a British journalist and author.
Planet Lightworker, published by New Earth Communications, "provides a space where
all flavors of the truth can be freely expressed without fear of spiritual bias or
censorship... (it) hopefully serve(s) the interests of and draws together a wide
variety of spiritually inclined people of all nationalities." Other awards were
for Best Article, Best Artwork, and Best Current Series.
Koven's Going Deeper, is written as a tribute to those who feel their purpose on
earth is to help evolve the consciousness of humanity during this time of transition
and shift. It is the acclaimed recipient of Best Metaphysical Book Awards from
Allbooks Review (Editor's Choice Award) and USA Book News. According to Linda
Salvin, nationally syndicated radio host "it is the hottest metaphysical book of the
millennium." Jean Houston, PhD, Director of the Foundation for Mind Research, calls
it "mythic and masterful.. a book to be read and reread."
During recent book tours through the San Francisco Bay Area, southern California,
Hawaii, Asheville, N.C., Mt. Shasta, Texas, and Santa Fe, N.M., Koven made numerous

Spirit Expos, Wesak 2006, and In the Heart of the Awakened 2006. He also spoke

reality."
Koven, a highly successful entrepreneur who started and ran more than a dozen
businesses, studied with spiritual masters and led awareness-expanding workshops on
six continents during his work years. He was born in France, educated at NYC
public schools, and for a while at M.I.T.
