On the launch date August 14, 2006; artists, fans, the media, and record label representatives will endure in a live chat session, officially launching the site to the world. The site allows artists to upload music, videos, images, concert schedules, and more. Artists even have the ability to create their own online radio station.
When asked what the motivation behind the website was, (Jeff Hill, www.drulz.com, programming director) responded by saying that "There are a lot of unsigned artists out there who want to get their music exposed to the world, but don't have the resources to pursue . Via the internet, artists can upload their music and get it heard by millions, effectively giving them the much needed exposure."
