Steve Willinger of Bristol, TN Chosen to Lead SCORE Bristol TN/VA
Steve Willinger Will Lead Local Efforts for SCORE "Counselors to America's Small
Business"

Bristol TN/VA-Chapter 196 SCORE announces Steve Willinger as its new chapter chair,
with his term beginning October 1. In this position, Willinger will coordinate
community outreach, recruiting and the chapter's small business counseling and
workshop programs.

SCORE CEO Kenneth Yancey says, "Steve Willinger's selection as chapter chair will
have a very positive impact on Bristol SCORE." Yancey adds, "Steve Willinger has
shown tremendous dedication to the NE TN/SW VA business community. He will ensure
the superior level of service that Bristol SCORE offers to area businesses."

Steve Willinger has been with Bristol SCORE since 2005. He has 30 years of marketing
experience and is the owner of MBA Consultants, a Bristol-based company providing
small businesses with Marketing Plans and Strategies. Steve is a member and
Ambassador of the Bristol, Johnson City Chambers of Commerce, has held a number of
offices in local civic organizations. He is Chairman of the local chapter of SME
(Society of Manufacturing Engineers) and Chairman of Northeast State Technical
Community College Machine Tool/Manufacturing Advisory Committee.

Bristol SCORE provided 70 small business services to area entrepreneurs in 2005,
through face-to-face and email counseling, and a series of business workshops. The
chapter's 12 volunteers have an average of 33 years of business experience, with a
wide range of expertise.

Since 1964, SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" has assisted more than 7
million aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners through counseling and
business workshops. More than 10,500 volunteer business counselors in 389 chapters
serve their communities through entrepreneur education dedicated to the formation,
growth and success of small businesses.
