JetFlash 210, a new fingerprint flash drive made by Transcend, went on global market
in June 2006.
Transcend JetFlash 210 uses ABIG's two major applications, one is called "File
Protection" which user can protect his/her files through fingerprint. The other is
called "Password Bank" which the user can use fingerprint to replace his/her ID and
Password. No matter to log in banks, membership websites, shopping websites. The
user has less trouble to memorize more than one ID and Password or to change ID and
Password periodically under the Bank's requirement.
ABIG's fingerprint application suite can be adopted not only in flash drive, but
also in all kinds of 3C products such as noteboosk, HDD enclosure, mouse, keyboard,
PDA, mobile and so on. In addition, ABIG develops Network Biometrics Integration
Platform, which provides Biometrics Authentication to governmental institute,
financial institute, large enterprise, or hospital in order to establish internal or
external information security system.
ABIG's research and development team is specialized in Biometrics Identify
Application for years. It is a notable achievement for ABIG to be authorized as
Transcend's supplier and will be one of ABIG's goals to be selected by more global
customers.
