SBAC is the UK's national trade association representing companies supplying civil air transport, aerospace defence, homeland security and space. SBAC Council is the governing body of the Society. It sets the strategy, directs and determines the work and activities of SBAC.
The listing in SBAC portal is due to the recent contracts won by EDRC TECHNOLOGIES within the Airbus and Boeing Supplier Chain. The partnership EDRC established with Airbus and Boeing suppliers enables it to provide offshore/onsite Design engineering and validation services. EDRC is currently serving TIER I manufacturers of Airbus and Boeing systems in Europe and North America. EDRC has been selected by these TIER I Aerospace Manufacturers based on its credentials within the Airbus supplier Chain and its ability to perform high technology Aerospace Design validations.

The Design programmes are managed by Karthic Ravindranath, who heads the technology group within EDRC. He expects to increase the A380 team size in Bangalore by 150-175 Design professionals towards the end of 2006.
