The site currently offers an in-depth profile of 10 popular exams; the ACT, CLEP, GED, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, SAT, TOEFL and Bar Exams. The profiles cover exam basics, test dates, test registration, fees, and scoring procedures for each test. The site also boasts a growing base of solid test prep articles and standardized exam news.
The site targets individuals just ready to begin college as well as older professionals.
The second phase of Testpedition.com will incorporate test tips and practice exams. Plans for videos are underway. Profiles for at least a dozen more exams are also being developed. Future phases of beta testing may include a social networking platform.
The concept for Testpedition.com was derived from the massive growth of the test prep industry. More and more standardized exams are now computerized and changes to the exams occur more frequently. The MCAT, the medical admissions exam, will be completely computerized beginning in 2007. Most other higher level exams are already computerized.
